Uses
ABC Products supply a range of woven and non-woven Geotextiles
for separation, drainage and ground stabilisation. Geotextiles
can be used to construct roads and embankments, and are often
used to replace thick expensive granular filters in drainage
applications.
Geotextiles were developed as a response to geotechnical
demands for more economic methods of soil stabilization. With
the development of synthetic polymers,a low cost alternative
to natural materials is available, easily placed,with the
added advantage of factory controlled properties.
As result, research and development with field application of
geotextiles for over 2 decades has evolved into new
manufacturing techniques for these products together with
improved performance.
